The Oilforest Plan:
Pilot Program
Special
opportunity for 1 Caribbean nation & 1 African or
Pacific nation:
Lead your region in
environmental & economic renewal, &
save 50% on your Phase One
workshop series.
Resolution Fund,
LLC will officially introduce the Oilforest Plan
in June of 2008.
Before the
program is formally introduced to the world, we are looking for two
nations to become pilots for this program; one in the
Caribbean, and one in Africa. In return, you'll
get a head start on your neighbors, you'll take a
regional economic/environmental policy leadership role,
and you'll save 50%.
Between now and the
official introduction, we
will recruit two countries--one from the Caribbean and
one from either Africa or the Pacific--to help us refine
the workshops. In return for your help during this
formative period, you will save 50% on the entire series
of 3 workshops. That's a total savings of $64,750
(USD).
The Pilot program differs from
the Oilforest Plan that will be offered
later in three ways:

Collaboration:
These will be the first presentations of
these workshops, so we will solicit a lot of feedback
during this process. You'll not only help
shape the program for future attendees, but
you'll have more "quality time" with the
instructors;

Discount: You will
pay only half of what future clients will
pay (maybe less than half, if price
increases are necessary in the future).
You'll pay only $64,750 (plus travel
expenses for the workshop faculty) for the entire
series of 3 workshops, which is also the
amount
you'll save.

Not sure if the Oilforest Plan is
right for your nation? Do you
need additional support from other
people or organizations in your country
before making a commitment to become a
pilot for the Oilforest Plan?
Or, do you simply want an actual sample
of the program before deciding? In
that case, you may purchase Workshop #1
by itself. After the workshop, if
you decide to proceed with the entire
program, the cost of that workshop shall
be deducted from the balance of your
remaining tuition, unless you need to
repeat Workshop #1 for a larger group of
stakeholders in order to launch the
program properly.

Commitment
to complete the 3 workshops within a year: Future
clients can complete Phase One (the 3
workshops) at whatever pace they wish. As a
Pilot Nation, you must commit to complete
the entire series of 3 workshops within one
year, and you must commit to scheduling the
first workshop to take place within four
months of joining the Pilot Program.
Committing to the entire series of workshops
requires paying for all of them in advance.
(However, with your 50% discount, your total
payment is over $30,000 less than the
regular cost of Workshop #3 all by itself.)
